This year rejoice giant Pathé cinema, in collaboration with Dutch Film Fund, movie fans again with a series of ultra-short animated films, prior to the big blockbusters running in the halls. 'Ultra-short! "Is Dutch for young animators a wonderful opportunity to show their work to a large audience. The author of the film 'Full Feather Jacket "(2015) Liz El Saadany (1989), who studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Since her study she is known as one of the most talented animators of our country; her graduation project 'Follow Through' (2014) earned her a nomination for the prestigious Dioraphte Award and was screened at various film festivals. El Saadany made 'Full Feather Jacket' with former classmates Arjen van der Meer and Marjon Haasnoot. As the title suggests, 'Full Feather Jacket' a reference to Stanley Kubrick's acclaimed war drama "Full Metal Jacket" from 1987. Here too, will make a clumsy novice with a tough drill instructor, already running it here gulls. The clumsy Manfred takes his job as a cleaner at an air base or fine.
